This question runs in every one of the WhatsApp users mind. The company has made it secure and has end-to-end encryption and has also encrypted its chats. Many people also think that WhatsApp cannot be hacked, but its not so. Your WhatsApp can get hacked, but it is a little tricky job yet possible. Many a times, your WhastApp messages are read by the third person without letting you know.

It's usual, that if you have WhatsApp in your smartphone and you use it the most. So better to be safe and secured while using it. So here, we’ll tell you, what to do to get prevented from such hacks.

You might be knowing that through one registered number you can operate your WhatsApp in one Smartphone only and you can’t go thought your one WhatsApp from two different devices. However, you can operate the same WhatsApp in a computer and mobile simultaneously. You can operate your WhatsApp on the web and mobile by scanning the QR code via the Whatsapp web. This is the only way through which your WhatsApp can be hacked.

WhatsApp hacking doesn’t need much hours, but a few seconds. Once you give your smartphone to someone, and with the help of a tool of WhatsApp the hacker can hack your WhatsApp by scanning, and this would permit him monitor your all chats and real-time messages. The reason for this is just the WhatsApp web option.

Another way is to register your mobile number in WhatsApp, after activating it; your entire chat history will be recovered. There are several tricks for this, like the code sent by WhatsApp can be asked by you in a fraudulent way, like a customer care agent, and this has been seen in many cases. Hackers also resort to voice messages for this.

To check that your Whatsapp is not been operated by anywhere else you can go to Whatsapp settings. Here you can see the Whatsapp web. If somewhere your WhatsApp is been operated then you’ll be able to see all the information over your screen. From here, you can make your ‘Sessions’ end. If you find ‘This Phone couldn’t be Verified’ then you can click on ‘Confirm’ button. If you see some unknown session running, then end it immediately.

According to WhatsApp, it takes up to 90 days for the WhatsApp data to be deleted. However during that time you can not access them.

After finishing the session, you can delete the Whatsapp app by going to Settings. After deactivation for 30 days, your account will be deleted. To register again, you’ll have to follow the whole procedure agin from starting.

Whatsapp has privacy settings for which you have to set passcode. It can also be called as two step authentication. To activate this, go to Settings and tap on the account. Here you’ll find the option of ‘Enable 2 Step-verification’. Activate it. Here you have to set the passcode, and enter the email id.

Now if, someone would even try to make account from your number and even if he would succeed in fetching the code somehow from you then too, without privacy password he’ll not be able to open your WhatsApp.
